KAS Comedy Etc & April Fool's Day Open Mic April 1, 2011

This Friday [4/01/2011: 7:00pm] open mic takes place in the heart of Long Beach. We welcome all comics, poets and musicians from 7 - 8pm. Then from 8 - 8:30pm we begin our feature show this week with feature comic Michael Driggs and headliner Gina Rodgers. At 8:35pm, after a brief intermission the open mic part two will begin. All money from the $3 minimum and the tip jar goes back to the investing in the show, paying the feature performers or supporting the venue itself. You may have seen this week's headliner Gina Rodgers as a sketch comedy guest on Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Kimmel, or HBO with Tracey Ullman. Originally from Napa Valley, Gina is a graduate of the Second City as well as the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in New York City. She's also a very good stand-up comic to boot.
