Karen Savage's loosely autobiographical photograms and archival inkjet prints offer a brief overview of her work from 1996 through 2009. The arrangements of garments and accessories directly onto photopaper or scanner without a body are exercises in self-portraiture through absence. With stark simplicity, Savage's focused vision and delicate hand creates a visually and intellectually rewarding series of variations on a theme.
