Kaori Koike: Night Walk November 26, 2010

Kaori Koike studied spatial art and design at Joshibi Junior college in Japan. She was drawn to how different materials influence the life of human beings, and saw glass as a medium which has many faces and plays the role of connecting outside and inside. Kaori continued to study glass at the Japanese Glass Art Institute. She came to the U.S. in 2003 and graduated from Illinois State University with BA in 2008. She currently is a full time studio artist and maintains a studio in Champaign, IL.
