Justin Klump To Make San Francisco Debut April 2, 2008

Portland based acoustic phenom, Justin Klump, is scheduled to perform at Red Devil Lounge on Wednesday, April 2nd. Klump has seamlessly bridged the gap between folk, pop and rock, drafting similarities to such influential artists as Dave Matthews, Nickel Creek and Damien Rice. With an unwavering dedication to his craft, Justin distinguishes himself with a “certain mastery of the guitar”, “strong scrappy vocals”, and “heart-on-sleeve lyrics”, creating a unique musical sound all of his own. For the past 6 years Klump has played all across the U.S., as both a headliner and support, sharing the stage with many notable artists including Everclear, Matt Nathanson, Ari Hest and Tyrone Wells. The release of Justin’s Something For September EP in 2006 solidified his place as a true force to be reckoned with in today’s music scene. His intricate guitar riffs, laced with a funky beat and soulful melodies make it hard to deny his future in the industry. Justin has recently finished recording several new tracks in Los Angeles with Producer and Cellist Matt Fish. His follow-up EP, Thousand Mile Dream, is set to be released in Early 2008.
