The Escorts are a spouge band favorite. Typically played with the mandolin, guitar and drums, paired with the cowbell and other unusual percussion instruments, spouge music topped the charts in St. Kitts, St. Lucia and the Dominican Republic in the '60s and '70s. The Escorts also play reggae and calypso favorites.
