Forty of Canada’s best textile artists, artisans and jewellers present their newest wearable art works at the fifth annual Just for Us Originals: The Wearable Art Show on Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24 at the Mississauga Living Arts Centre, the second year it has been held here.

Experience the beauty of timeless, high-quality wearable art at this free admission show and sale of original wearable art, the exclusive focus of the two-day event.

These aren’t mass-produced items designed to follow a seasonal trend, but rather unique, hand-crafted pieces by Canadian artisans that turn the wearer into a moving canvas.

Gorgeous jackets, intricate knitwear, collaged creations, colourful felted work, exquisite jewellery, striking leather pieces and unique accessories (handbags, scarves, hats, belts) are all on display - and on the runway as well at two fashion shows daily where models become moving canvasses as they showcase wearable creations.
