"Just Another Version of the Truth" A One Man Poetry Show - One Night Only - performed by IN-Q September 24, 2009

In-Q has been writing and performing Spoken Word for the last 10 years. He has been a featured poet on numerous popular television shows including: HBO's Def Poetry Jam, ABC's Eye on LA, and NBC's Living Large. In 2005 he wrote and performed 5 poetry commercials for Nickelodeon. In addition to his appearances on TV, In-Q is an award-winning competition poet with a live show so captivating; he is credited as a 5-time Hollywood Slam Team member and 2007's "Grand Slam Champion".

Additionally, In-Q was a principal part of the National Poetry Team that won the Slam Poetry Championships in St. Louis in 2004. Always performing and continuously building his fan base, In-Q is a regular in Los Angeles at both DA Poetry Lounge and Fly Poets Showcase, and makes regular appearances around the country at venues ranging from universities and corporate functions, to nightclubs and major music arenas. In 2004 he opened up for The Red Hot Chili Peppers at a Democratic Campaign Fundraiser, which featured speeches by now Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama.

Most recently In-Q released his first full-length poetry CD, "When Two
Worlds Collide", to national acclaim. In 2008, he was chosen by URB
Magazine as one of their "Next 1000 Artists."

On Thursday, September 24th, at 8pm, IN-Q be performing a solo show featuring some of his favorite pieces and a selection of new works. It's been over a year since his last full length show in LA, and it is definitely long over due. The seating is limited and the show will sell out so please make sure you arrive early enough to grab a seat!
