THOMPSON’S PRODUCTIONS ADDS ‘FIJI’ & ‘INNA VISION’ TO
JUNIOR REID CONCERT AT MAUI ARTS AND CULTURAL CENTER APRIL 16

HONOLULU, HI (March 31, 2010) ­ Two more musical acts will join Junior Reid and ‘Katchafire’ live in concert at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center (MACC) on Friday, April 16th. Thompson’s Productions has invited one of the biggest Polynesian artists, ‘Fiji’ to perform, plus Maui’s very own local reggae band ‘Inna Vision’ will join the show.
Born George Brooks Veikoso, ‘Fiji’ is one of the biggest Polynesian artists of our time. A fusion of classic reggae, Hip-Hop, R & B and Jazz sets Fiji apart as a performer. His unique island style defies the idea of categorizing artists into a single genre of music, giving Fiji widespread appeal and capturing his array of musical influences.
‘Inna Vision’ is a seven-piece original reggae band that hails from the island of Maui, featuring two lead vocalists, BenGali and Koko, and a horn. In 2008 ‘Inna Vision’ released its first album “Music on My Mind” and coming this summer will release their second album “Ashes For Your Urn.”
‘Junior Reid Live In Concert’ featuring ‘Katchafire,’ ‘Fiji’ and ‘Inna Vision’ will take the stage at Maui Arts and Cultural Center Friday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m. General admission tickets are $35 in advance or $40 the day of show, plus applicable fees.
