or children in grades 3-5. Participants must be willing to learn about gardens, get dirty and have fun. The JMG program will introduce young gardeners to the art and science of gardening, and help them develop leadership and life skills to become good citizens within their communities, schools and families.
In order to earn the Golden Ray Badge, the first step in becoming a certified Junior Master Gardener, each student must attend at least 5 classes. Classes will be held Saturdays on October 23 & 30, November 6, 13, & 20, and December 4 from 9 - 11 am.
This fee includes class supplies.
