Juneteenth Festival HISTORY A Positive Festival. Lets go Green! As you may already know, Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration in the United States, that marks the end of slavery. It was June 19, 1865 when union soldiers landed in Galveston, Texas with the news that the Civil War had ended and that all enslaved African-Americans were free! This news came two and a half years after President Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation, which had become official on January 1, 1863. It is now a national tradition to celebrate this historic event.Thanks be unto God. Come join us all nations our welcome to be on one positive accord.
The Oakland Moment in time Association. Dangerfield Vision Ministries- an organizations will continue promoting and contributing to educational, cultural and social activities for our community. We strive to create a cooperative environment that unites people of all ages and backgrounds. My partners fundraiser efforts each year provide scholarships to college bound seniors. Bay area radio stations and T.V. Networks.Are all welcome and invited to attend. Special guest artist from R & B, Gospel, Jazz, Country Western. Hip Hop,music. Black Cowboys Association, Bay Area Cowboys and Cowgirls. Motor cycles and free gifts will supplies last. Marching band from Alameda, Ca. For the children Jumpers, Cowboy's & horse show much more. Car show. Praise and Worship Dancers. Maybe a Talent Contest. (lol) Fun for All-Americans Come Celebrate with us as we remember an Celebrate that we are Black world survivors and not ashamed Free in Christ Jesus whom the son sets free is free indeed!
