The Bronzeville/Black Chicagoan Historical Society will host its Juneteenth Celebration at the Pullman State Historic Site this year! Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth today, celebrates African American freedom while encouraging self-development and respect for all cultures. Join us for music, stories, and lots of barbecue!
