June Century House Poetry to feature Charlie and 'Bear' June 15, 2008

Charlie Getter is the founder of San Francisco's 16th and Mission "micless open mic" and "Bear" Toffoli is an East Bay poet and artist and the co-founder of Word Up poetry workshops for teens and youth.
An open mic segment will follow when aspiring and accomplished poets of all ages will be invited to read a favorite or original poem of 40 lines or less.

Light refreshments will be served during intermission.

The Poet Laureate program is part of City of Pleasanton Civic Arts, a division of the Department of Parks and Community Services. Century House poetry readings take place on one Sunday of even-numbered months, with the exception of August 2008.
