July 2008 Workshop: Understand and Execute Experience Marketing
Marketers face unprecedented challenges in the form of stiffening global competition, tightening budgets and an avalanche of advertising clutter.

This multifaceted educational program will walk attendees through the modern experiential discipline, establishing a baseline understanding as well as some of the more advanced concepts that drive execution of successful programs.

The first half of the program will cover major trends fueling experiential marketing, including:

* Delivering greater value on the marketing dollar
* The impact of globalization
* Marketing's new relationship with procurement
* Strategic decision-making through technology

Following the introduction, attendees will break out into one of three self-elected groups covering topics most relevant to their situation:

* Event-level marketing: optimizing the single-touch experience
* Campaign-level marketing: Coordinating multiple experiences
* Portfolio management: Strategically align event spend to business goals

Bio's:
As Senior Vice President, Strategic Marketing/Worldwide at George P. Johnson, David Rich created and leads GPJ's global Program Strategy practice.

As VP, Client Services and Program Strategy, Experience Design, with more than 25 years experience in marketing and events, Scott Schenker applies both a Kellogg MBA and a B.A. in broadcast television from Columbia College to execute strategic campaigns for multinational clients in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific.

As Executive Director of Client Services & Sponsorship Sales/Partner Marketing, Rodrigo Espinosa created the global practice of Sponsorship Sale & Partner Marketing. He built a team with a strategic vision and a strong emphasis on partnership marketing,
