She has always followed her own restless stars, passionately embracing the cause of peace, and singing songs of protest and inspiration to rallies and audiences around the world. She uses many threads in her life - peace, healing, freedom, love, woman's power, human rights - and weaves them into music that touches the soul and makes the spirit sing.
