Juilliard Quartet November 30, 2012

The quintessential American quartet, the Juilliard ushers in its 66th season in 2012-13 – their second with dynamic first violinist Joseph Lin. The Juilliard’s many honors include four Grammy Awards and membership in the Hall of Fame of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. For their first of two PCMS appearances this season, the legendary group performs a pair of late Beethoven quartets: Op. 131 – widely considered Beethoven’s greatest – and the subsequent, uber-reflective Op. 132.
