Colorado ska-favorite, Judge Roughneck returns to the main stage on Thursday, March 5.  Sporting new tunes, Judge Roughneck will headline a 16-and-up show at the Bluebird Theater, along with Lion Vibes, Furious George and the Monster Groove, and the Byron Shaw Projex.

Judge Roughneck began its life in 1995 during ska's so-called "3rd Wave".  "At the time, people thought of ska as just Punk with horns," recalls lead singer Byron Shaw.  Judge Roughneck's sound, however, was in the more melodic tradition of the early '80's 2-Tone movement from the U.K.. Roughneck's audience grew quickly and the band released 3 CDs over the ensuing years.  "Rude One", from the CD, "Rude One's Money Making Scheme" was in regular rotation on college radio nationwide.

The Bluebird concert will feature Judge Roughneck's newest material, as well as older favorites.  As always, the concert will be a high-energy performance, which will get you a-movin'.  Tickets are on sale now for $10 from ticketmaster.com or the Bluebird's box office.
