JP Jofre's Hard Tango Chamber Band and Classical Jam at Joe's Pub April 2, 2013

Juan Pablo Jofre’s Hard Tango Chamber Band and Classical Jam will perform a double bill at New York’s legendary Joe’s Pub. JP Jofre ‘s Hard Tango Chamber Band was formed by the banondeonist to spread his contemporary tango compositions across the world. Classical Jam (CJ) unites acclaimed soloists and chamber musicians presenting wide-ranging repertoire including exciting improvisations, CJ original compositions, and traditional classical works. The groups will combine forces to perform a concert featuring improvisations on the Brazilian Tune "Asa Branca", as well as pieces written by Classical Jam members Wendy Law and Justin Hines. The second half of the evening will feature a sensuous program of JP Jofre’s own highly acclaimed compositions, two of which will be world premiere performances.
