JOURNEYS: Detours…Intersections…Destinations May 31, 2009

After a groundbreaking performance last year as part of Run of The Mill Theater's Variations on Power Satellite festival, Brave Soul Collective returns to Baltimore next month with “JOURNEYS: Detours…Intersections…Destinations” , as part of this years Variations Satellite project, VARIATIONS ON HOPE. In conjunction with Run of the Mill Theater, aptly titled, “JOURNEYS”, is a combination of theatre, music, and spoken word performances that speak to the complexities of life & the human experience. Through the evening’s performances all those in attendance will have the opportunity to examine their feelings about a multitude of issues such as relationships, sexuality, HIV/AIDS, self- esteem, tolerance, love, & spirituality.

“JOURNEYS” will feature live performances by soul/R&B singer Ashley Phillips, as well as scenes from the stage play, “HeartBeats”, written by Alan Sharpe, and the new stage play “S.O.S.” by Rashad A. Moody & Jared Shamberger. This show promises to entertain, educate, inspire, and leave audience members with plenty to take on their individual & collective journeys.
