The Gurdjieff Foundation of Illinois presents Yleana Bautista, the noted Cuban-Mexican pianist, in concert on Saturday, November 3, 2012, 7:30 PM at The Music Institute of Chicago in Evanston. Yleana Bautista is celebrated in Latin America and in Russia, where she received her musical training. This concert will mark her debut before a U.S. audience. Entitled "Journey to Inaccessible Places", Bautista’s program will feature piano music composed by G. I. Gurdjieff, one of the twentieth century’s most influential spiritual teachers, who collaborated musically with the talented modernist Russian composer Thomas de Hartmann, a student of Rimsky-Korsakov and Scriabin.
