Journaling in the tradition of the Pillow Book "Bridges and Dreams: The interplay of fantasy and reality in our lives." August 23, 2009

Join certified Journal to the Self Facilitator, Jackie Costello, for a journey inward with the inspired women of ancient Japan's sensuous Heian period as our guides.

The pillow books, "The Gossamer Years," and Lady Sarashina's "As I Crossed a Briidge of Dreams," offer poignant examples of how choice of perspective creates our reality. In this workshop we will explore the nature of experience as it is impacted by our perception of "reality," fantasy, dreams, and memory through choices in perspective as we practice journaling techniques such as "Captured Moments," "Dream Logs," and writing from a future viewpoint.

All materials will be provided. No prior reading or familiarity with the pillow books required.
