At the age of just 17 Josh Thomas was the youngest ever winner of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's RAW Comedy Competition in 2005. He also made the finals of So You Think You're Funny, Edinburgh's equivalent to RAW Comedy. In 2010 Josh Thomas was nominated for Best Show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He then sold out a national tour that included Sydney Opera House and managed to squeeze in a tour of New Zealand.

A stand up veteran at just 24, Josh has performed at invitation only festivals around the world including Smithwicks Cat Laughs Comedy Festival in Kilkenny, Ireland and the Geel Comedy Festival in Belgium, curated the Brisbane Comedy Festival (twice) and is the Gen Y Captain on Network Ten’s Talkin’ ‘bout Your Generation for which he was nominated for a TV Week Logie Award for Most Popular New Male Talent. Josh Thomas has performed solo seasons at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, Brisbane Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival.
