Josh Rouse's consistently enthralling body of work consists of urbane light-pop, globetrotting songwriting, and his solid backing band. His music is sweet, sophisticated, and influenced by his love of soft rock. His songs are filled with lyrical gems and his wonderfully rich and intimate vocals. His latest album, El Turista, was recorded after living in Spain for five years. It is flavored with sounds of Cuba, Brazil, Spain and Venezuela. El Turista will be released March 9 on Yep Roc Records.
