Gearing up for a month long tour of Japan, renowned Long Beach musician/producer Josh Fischel is set to take DiPiazza’s by storm with 40th birthday party musical revue.

Long Beach, CA June 25, 2009 -- Livin’ the Dream Productions is proud to officially announce the one night only 40th birthday celebration (in revue format) of long time Long Beach musician/producer Josh Fischel at DiPiazza in Long Beach, June 25, 2009.

Performing along side Long Beach icon Josh Fischel on this amazing night will be fellow members (Zippy, Matt and Todd) of his most legendary and influential band Bargain Music, the entire ZEN ROBBI band including special performances featuring Josh Fischel with ZEN front man Mic Dangerously, Monique Powell of Save Ferris, De La from Slightly Stoopid, Jamie Bullock of International Farmers, Glen Den Bosch of The Players Inc., Christopher Crumb of Wyly and many other guest performances by some of Josh’s closest friends and most talented artists in the music industry.

This birthday celebration will be held at DiPiazza in Long Beach. Owned and operated by Josh’s close friend Mark DiPiazza, one of Long Beach’s most respected club owners and biggest supporter of local and nationally touring acts for the last 10 years at his current location. This celebration revue will be open to the public (18+) and will kick off at 8 p.m.
About Josh Fischel:

Josh Fischel has been a staple in the Long Beach music scene since his return from the east coast in late 1996. A graduate of Marina High (Huntington Beach), theatre major, video director (sublime), full-time musician (bargain music, solo) and musical producer (b-foundation, zen robbi) are just a few key careers paths that have got Josh to where he is today.

He spent nine years with the band Bargain Music touring the country and releasing seven albums. He has sang with artists like Los Lobos, Buju Banton, Mike Watt, Monsieur LeRoc, Stephen Perkins, Spearhead, Abstract Rude, Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson from sublime, Murs, Ikey Owens, Pepper, 2-Mex, Slightly Stoopid and many others. Currently gearing up for a month long 16 show tour of Japan, Josh is still hitting the scene hard, playing acoustic shows and is working in the studio producing some this summer’s hottest bands.
