He was selected as featured soloist for the 1998 Disney Collegiate All-Star Jazz Band and worked extensively for various cruise-lines and club date ensembles. Today, Joseph is very active on the New York City music scene as both a performer and composer. As an instrumentalist he has had the good fortune to work with many top names in jazz including: Junior Mance, Benny Powell, George Coleman, Vanessa Ruben, the Duke Ellington Orchestra, Cab Calloway Orchestra, Bobby Sanabrias Afro-Cuban Dream Band, James Jabbo Ware, Charlie Persip and Supersound, the Harlem Renaissance Orchestra, trumpeter Eddie Allens big band, and Jazz Messenger Valery Ponomarevs Jazz Orchestra. This sextet is made up of some of the finest young talent in NYC including Jerome Jennings on drums, Matt Rybicki on bass, Dion Tucker on trombone, and many more. He also leads a quartet with Oscar Perez on piano and Jerome Jennings on drums that focuses on a mix of originals and standards. Josephs latest project as a composer is being musical director and arranger for the Diamond Dreams Orchestra, an ensemble dedicated to the music of the 1920s featuring many of todays finest musicians, including Earl May, James Zollar, and Alex Harding.
