Jordan Scott's work is influenced by the interconnectedness of the universe. His grid paintings, bisquit field's, crayon worlds, wire tangles, postage stamp collages, are each composed of hundreds or thousands of similar elements, creating interdependent whole much greater than the sum of its parts. He uses materials outside of their normal context in ways that they were never intended. Pier Wright's series of abstract resin paintings resulted from a study of certain innate prejudices which he felt influenced how he arranged his compositions. As a way to work around these apparent prejudices he decided to work in two vertical formats, using a ladder-like structure and a spiral.
