Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce Environment Committee America Recycles Day November 19, 2011

These vendors will be on-site to accept the following items for recycling:

Abilities Unlimited > Merchandise for resale in the thrift store (Furniture, dishware, office furniture, etc) > Paper for secure shredding

Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas > Plastic grocery bags for food distribution

Habitat for Humanity > Accepting scrap building materials for use in home-building program. (wood, cabinets, hardware, etc.)

Legacy Landfill > Providing blue-bags and information on recycling program

MARCK Recycling > #1 and #2 plastics, aluminum and cans, newspaper, cardboard

Suddenlink Communications > Consumer electronics for proper disposal & recycling (TV’s, radios, computers, clocks, phones, monitors, etc.) through their “eCycling Initiative”

Household Hazardous Waste (oven cleaners, bug spray cans, etc.) will NOT be accepted for recycling.
