On a tour with his string band Sweet Evening Breeze, fiddler Dan Munroe buys a fiddle at a sidewalk sale in New York and hears the story of the previous owner's entanglement with the underworld of the 1930s. Dangerous and mysterious events begin to unfold in this musical mystery.
