Jon Lajoie at Just for Laughs Chicago comedy festival June 17, 2009

Canadian Jon Lajoie is one of the few talents who has been able to manifest the cult following for his Internet videos into a mainstream audience. With ironically singsong lyrics about boring everyday activities, genitalia and getting high, his videos have over 100 million aggregate views online, with Show Me Your Genitals recently surpassing 10 million views. He’s also known for anthems High As F*ck, and Everyday Normal Guy, as well as following up popular vids with sequels--Show Me Your Genitals, for example, spawned Show Me Your Genitals 2: E=MC Vagina. Lajoie has also parodied late-night infomercials, peddling "pedophile beards," "rapist glasses," and methods of stress relief in his Not Giving A F*ck video. But most importantly, he’s clearly dedicated to his craft. Think of all the terrible infomercials he must have suffered through!
