The Organic and Medicinal Chemistry Division of the Hungarian Chemical Society, the Medicinal Chemistry Section of the Austrian Chemical Society, the Section of Synthetic Drugs of the Czech Pharmaceutical Society of CMA JEP, the Division of Medicinal Chemistry of the German Chemical Society, the Hellenic Society of Medicinal Chemistry, the Division of Medicinal Chemistry of the Italian Chemical Society, the Polish Society of Medicinal Chemistry, the Slovak Chemical Society and the Section for Medicinal Chemistry of the Slovenian Pharmaceutical Society cordially invite you to participate in the Hungarian-Austrian-Czech-German-Greek-Italian-Polish-Slovak-Slovenian Joint Meeting on Medicinal Chemistry. The participants, however, are not restricted to these nine countries.



This meeting follows the previous joint meetings held in Taormina, Italy (1999), Jelenia Góra, Poland (2000), Budapest, Hungary (2001), Kraków, Poland (2003), Vienna, Austria (2005) and Portorož, Slovenia (2007).



Scientific program



Invited plenary (35 min), keynote lectures (20 min) and poster sessions are planned.



Symposium will include the following topics:




  • Drug design

  • Pharmaceutical profiling assays in drug discovery: New analytical approaches

  • Cancer

  • Metabolic disorders, including diabetes, obesity

  • Neurodegenerative diseases

  • Antibacterial drugs

  • Antithrombotic drugs

  • Medicinal chemistry of natural products
