Join Dr. Mathilde Krim, global health consultant and activist Regan Hoffmann, and amfAR CEO Kevin Robert Frost for an examination of the innovative strides medicine has taken in AIDS research development following a screening of The Battle of amfAR as part of the Tribeca Film Festival’s “Tribeca Talks: After the Movie” panel series, on Wednesday, April 24 at 5:30 PM at SVA Theater 1, located at 333 West 23rd Street (between 8th and 9th Avenue), Manhattan.

The film, directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, chronicles the moment when Dr. Mathilde Krim and Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor launched the country’s first AIDS research foundation during the 1980s.

The Tribeca Talks panel series brings film enthusiasts together with some of the biggest name directors, actors and industry leaders to explore a wide array of topics and spark a richer dialogue about film.
