John Wooton is currently the Director of Percussion Studies at Southern Miss. He fronts his own band, KAISO!, specializing in Caribbean jazz and popular calypso music Each performance consists of traditional calypsos and socas from Trinidad, as well as Cuban, Brazilian, classical, American popular music, and jazz standards.
