John Witherspoon played 'Pops' for five seasons on the WB comedy "The Wayans Brothers".

Witherspoon's career spans over several decades beginning in the 70s to the present. He has appeared on "Good Times", "Night Court", "The Tonight Show" and CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman". Recently, he co-starred opposite Tracy Morgan in the NBC comedy "The Tracy Morgan Show".

Witherspoon has also livened up his roles in the films in the 2006 comedy "Little Man" starring Shawn and Marlon Wayans and Kerry Washington; "Boomerang," "Friday," "Next Friday," "Friday After Next," "Little Nicky," and in the 2004 comedy "Soul Plane".
