Images Festival and the Gladstone Hotel are proud to present a rare archival exhibition of black and white 35mm prints portraying an insider view of Toronto's indie film community and events since 1978 as documented through the lens of local legend John Porter. Porter's archive is a personal catalogue and a visual diary which has been referenced by historians, and archivists to illustrate the history of grass roots filmmaking in Toronto and beyond. This is the first time the archive, in its totality, will be on public display.
