John Petrovsky Carvajal: Spanish Cinema February 5, 2010

This course is designed to get students thinking and talking about good films in Spanish. Each week students see a different film at home and discuss it in class, concentrating on themes, characterization, the cultural context and the language used. Before the first class, students are asked to view at home 'El Crime del Padre Amaro/The Crime of Father Amaro.'
