Southern California artist, John McLaughlin, developed a distinctive style of abstraction referred to as "geometric Western abstraction." Inspired by his lifelong study of the art of Asia, he instilled in his art an Eastern sense of stillness and quietude. In 1962, McLaughlin was invited to make prints with the Tamarind Lithography Workshop in Los Angeles. This exhibition includes the seventeen prints McLaughlin's produced at Tamarind in their entirety.
