Two-time Obie Award-winning singer and performance artist John Kelly brings his multi-octave voice to perform 'The Escape Artist,' original songs from a man who identifies with the life and paintings of the Italian painter Caravaggio. Part autobiography, part travelogue, these songs paint a picture of a globe-traipsing man dragged through dark times. The program also includes covers by Kurt Weill, Radiohead, The Incredible String Band, and John Barry.
