John Hammink live @ Panama Red Cafe January 22, 2012

John Hammink is a singer/songwriter, engineer and performer who has traveled and worked all over the world. Currently working with acts on the Pusher Label (France) and Coon Records (Russia), he supported the band that represented the Vepsian language minority in Russia in the Liet 2010 music festival. His solo music has been described by Current Magazine, Ann Arbor, Michigan as "Folk from Soul with a Rock and Roll heart". With a strong Detroit-jazz-underpinning, John returns to the states, playing the west coast scene with a world-music infused vocal and acoustic guitar after nearly 20 years abroad.
