From playing at the University of Rhode Island and clubs in Boston to recording the soundtrack for the hit feature film “Eddie and the Cruisers,” John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band is a area band that made it big in the 1970s and 80s. The 1983 film produced several national hits, including "On the Dark Side," which went triple platinum. Often associated with the movie, the band’s subsequent albums, "Tough All Over" and "Roadhouse," were released under the name "Eddie and the Cruisers." The band went on to record hits like "Hearts On Fire” from Rocky IV and "For A Heart That's True" and "Nobody But Me” from the movie Jersey Girl. Don’t miss this all-American rock n’ roll band!
