American Dance Institute will present Joffrey Ballet's Arpino Apprentices on Saturday, April 8th at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 9th at 2:30 p.m. The performances offer a rare opportunity for children and aspiring young dancers to see and learn first-hand the process of becoming a professional dancer. The Arpino Apprentices will dance a selection of Joffrey Ballet repertoires such as Volta Variations, Unarmed and Partita for Four in American Dance Institute's intimate, 140-seat performance venue. As part of this educational experience, Joffrey Balletmaster Mark Goldweber will talk about the dances and the career stages of a ballet dancer. Tickets for the performances are priced at $20 for adults and $10 for students, seniors, children and those with a DC dance pass.
