Joey Arias, David White Bird Laflamme, Sunday Night Salsa: Salsariba April 6, 2008

It's been 18 years since Joey's Seattle debut and as expected he has been dazzling the world with his beautiful voice. From Carnegie Hall to the Edinburg Fringe Festival, he is able to name and venue drop with the best of them. The Las Vegas Journal awarded Joey "Diva of the Strip" over Celine Dion. He has sung with David Bowie, and was a collaborator with the late Klaus Nomi.

David LaFlamme, formerly lead singer/violinist and composer for the group, It's A Beautiful Day, is best known as the creator of the hit song 'White Bird.' While recording six internationally acclaimed albums with Columbia Recording Studios, he also performed with music's best, including Billy Joel, Santana, Chuck Berry, Jefferson Airplane with Grace Slick, The Doors, The Beach Boys, Jimmy Hendrix and dozens of other international musicians.

Sammy Torres came to Seattle were he formed his band Salsariba. They performed in many festivals, events, and night clubs around the Seattle area. Salsariba plays Salsa, matanceras and Cha-Cha-Cha.
