Joe Matarese grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ, and started doing stand up at the age of 20 in Philadelphia. His first television appearance was on MTV's 'Spring Break.' Soon after, he did two more appearances on MTV. Then, someone from Overbrook Entertainment saw a set of Joe's and signed him to a development deal to star in his own sitcom about a guy trying to find his true love and himself along the way.
