Pianist/guitarist Joe Firstman got his big start on tour with Willie Nelson, Jewel, Jason Mraz and Sheryl Crow and later as musical director on Last Call with Carson Daly. Now making records on his own label, Firstman's simple sound has begun to grow. Songs off his latest, El Porto, are all warmth, wood, melody and flow. Up-and-coming Nashville soul/R&B singer Josh Hoge joins Firstman, for a well-rounded night of new music.
