Joe Farnsworth Quartet: A Tribute to Tadd Dameron February 19, 2009

One of the quintessential, yet anonymous voices of bebop is the great Tadd Dameron. He was an arranger for Dizzy Gillespie, Sarah Vaughn, Clifford Brown and Fats Navarro, among many others, as well as the composer of classics such as 'Our Delight,' 'Good Bait,' and 'Lady Bird.' Already recognized as an elite drummer, Joe Farnsworth is also developing a well-deserved reputation as an insightful leader. His quartet features frequent collaborators tenor saxophonist Eric Alexander, pianist Richard Wyands and bassist Nat Reeves.
