Williamsburg, Virginia 23185

An evening of guitar and bass jazz music is on tap for Friday, January 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Williamsburg Library Theatre, 515 Scotland Street. Richmond-based guitarist Trey Pollard and Virginia Beach bassist Jimmy Masters will play traditional jazz standards with a freshness and open dialogue reminiscent of guitar-bass duos like Jim Hall and Ron Carter or Pat Metheny and Charlie Haden. Pollard and Masters draw on the Great American Songbook while injecting their own voices into each song they play. The result is a relaxed and intimate look at the creative process unfolding within the context of great songs that we know and love.

Tickets for this Dewey Decibel Concert are $15 for adults, $13 for Friends of Williamsburg Regional Library and students w/ ID and $7 for those under 16. They can be reserved by calling the library at (757) 259-4070.
