Freaky Fast Sandwich Making and Eating Contest Returns to Taste of Lincoln Avenue

WHAT: That’s right. It’s a rematch! The Jimmy John’s Freaky Fast Sandwich Making and Eating Contest is retuning to Chicago. If you were among the droves of people last year at the Taste of Lincoln Avenue who witnessed the Jimmy John’s sandwich makers cream the World Class Major League Eaters, you would understand why the eaters are ready to take them on again! Just like last year, the contest will pit three of the fastest sandwich makers in town against three World Class Major Eaters, including, Chicago’s own, the No. 2 eater in the world, Patrick “Deep Dish” Bertoletti, to see who is faster. But wait! There is a twist!! To compensate for the eaters’ inability to scarf down sandwiches as fast as the Jimmy John’s team made them last year, one Chicago native, who recently won a local amateur competition, will join as an honorary member of the eating team. Come see if the eaters will get their revenge during this 3 vs. 4 competition!
