Jewish Punk Rockers! May 4, 2007

Growing up in Atlanta Steven Lee Beeber must have bemoaned not just the fact that none of The Beatles were Jewish, but that Barry Manilow and Neil Sedaka were. Now in his 40s, Beeber has taken that teenage angst and channeled it into his acclaimed new book, The Heebie-Jeebies at CBGB’s: A Secret History of Jewish Punk.
Beeber will read from and sign copies of the book at A Cappella Books in Little Five Points on Thursday, May 4 at 7:00 PM. Admission is free to this event.
