For very young children and their grown-ups. Singing, puppets, crafts, bubbles, snacks, and more. Together we will experience the Jewish ritual for the beginning of the week, Havdalah. It’s a brief, beautiful ceremony. We smell sweet spices, sing, watch a braided candle burn, and wish one another a good week. Bring your child’s favorite blanky and stuffed animal. You’ll leave with information on how to try Havdalah at home if you’d like. Our gathering will be led by childhood educator, Mimi Greisman. Open to all children 0-5 and their grown-ups, whether Jewish or just curious.
