Join us for “Lights/Music/Action: Empowering Entertainment for Women” to celebrate Jewels’ premiere event at Butterfly Nightclub, Wednesday, March 21 to benefit the YWCA Toronto

Toronto, ON – February 20, 2007 – They say diamonds are a girls’ best friend, and Jewels is out to prove they will be the go-to gal pal for all of Toronto’s vibrant and daring damsels. Jewels (www.jewelsto.com) is an innovative website created exclusively for women that endeavors to bring women of all ages and backgrounds together to network and socialize, and most of all share their insights on being modern women. This sisterhood in the city can take part in Jewels’ monthly mix and mingles at some of Toronto's hottest night spots to further create a sense of community; and Jewels’ premiere soiree at Butterfly inspires social consciousness and female empowerment by donating proceeds to the YWCA Toronto’s programs for women and girls.

To celebrate their official launch to the public, Jewels presents a special evening at Butterfly on Wednesday, March 21st called “Lights/Music/Action: Empowering Entertainment for Women”. Toronto’s finest female DJ Ychuck will spin until the wee hours of the morning, and guests can enjoy an amateur photo shoot and indulgent goodies and giveaways throughout the night. Although Jewels caters exclusively to the fearless females of the city, men are invited out to “Lights/Music/Action” but only if they are accompanied by an amazing Jewels woman.

Jewels supports the YWCA Toronto Women’s Shelter, and a portion of every membership and door proceeds will be donated to the YWCA Toronto to support their programs and services for women and girls. For more information, please visit their website www.ywcatoronto.org.
