Jesus Diaz Latin Jazz Ensemble October 5, 2008

Join Jesus Diaz and his ensemble as the play the latest in contemporary, progressive afro-Cuban jazz. The band will be opening for the Latin Jazz All-stars "Tribute to Hilton Ruiz" as
part of the SF Latin Jazz series.

Jesus is a Cuban born percussionist and vocalist is a pioneer in bringing a special blend of traditional, folkloric and modern/timba influences to the Bay Area sound. His local and worldwide performances in collaboration with world renowned and acclaimed artists, are recognized for their contributions to the richness of an ever expanding musical genre worldwide.
