Jessica Gaynor Dance creates work that utilizes extreme physicality, cerebral patterning and sophisticated formal structures in an exploration of the complexities of human experience. This new evening length piece, performed by an ensemble of seven dancers, investigates issues of space and the ways in which it dictates our daily experiences. From cramped places to developing landscapes, the choreography explores density, facings, spatial patterns, and pathways as the space both contracts and expands.
